VANTARE reads small service-business websites and names one line of business the site already proves the company can do but is not selling. This is what comes back when we run it at scale, and what it does not show. Every number here carries its sample size, the date it was taken, and what it cannot support.
How to read anything on this page. These are counts from our own scans, not a survey and not a forecast. The corpus, the date and the sample size sit at the top of every piece. Where a number rests on too few sites to carry a general claim, the piece says so instead of rounding it up.
We scanned 300 HVAC, restoration, roofing and pest-control websites in a single run. 236 of them showed evidence of a service line the company was not selling. Then we threw away 96 of those. Here is the whole funnel, including the part that failed.
Indoor air quality and duct work came back more often than anything else — 18 of the 95 findings that survived. Why it keeps appearing, and when it is the wrong thing to add.
Seventeen of ninety-five. What the sites were already doing that made the finding credible, and what a contractor has to have before it is worth selling.
Thirteen of the ninety-five findings were not a new service at all. They were the same service, sold to a different buyer.
